Down the memory lanes
Everything came back to my mind

The place called home
I saw them standing
Hand in hand
Smiling broadly
Their eyes gazing
A captured moment....
That love birds
Gave birth and raised me
Gave endless love and care
Unconditionally
Free of charge...
As I was passing
Their place of rest
My heart sank
I wished I could have done more
I wished I could have given more
But....
Yesterday was long gone
Along with the love birds
Only the memories live on
In my mind
