I know how you are feeling. I was there too.
I lost my Abah and followed by Mak. You feel lost without them. You'll start missing their presence, their habits, their smile, their look, their concern and their touch! In other words, without them, the world is so different even though you have your own family but they are our parents! We used to depend on them. With them around, you have someone to talk to, to give consent, to listen to our hay days and to share our happiness and sadness....parents are everything to us.....

That morning, I met a friend who is also my neighbour who had just lost her mum. She was talking about her mum, how she passed and was surprised to see many attended her funeral. This friend of mine is the one and only child...can you imagine how lost she is now? She cried the minute I conveyed my condolence for the loss and all the while tears came rolling down her cheek. It hurts to see her like that....really do.
My friend, that is the cycle of life. Today you lost your mum and tomorrow our children will face the same....just a cycle of life. We have to live with it. That feeling will be with us until the end of our life. We have to move on.
It is a reminder to everybody, cherish the moments with your parents. Take good care of them, love them and make time for them because when they are gone, what is left are only memories. No point to get angry or upset if you do not take care of them when they are alive. Grab the opportunity to see, visit, hug and kiss them as much as you can. because if you do so, your children will do the same to you when you are old......
