Islam is a religion of peace. We were taught not to hurt people or even animals. We were taught not to interrupt other beliefs. We were taught not to harm people and not to destroy their places of worship. Your religion is yours and my religion is mine. Do what you believe and I do what Allah want me to do.
Humans were born in multicolours. It's only colour! It is not something that we can choose but was given by Allah! We should feel greatful about it and be proud of it! Our needs and wants are the same. We eat when we are hungry. We work. We play. We breed. We do things the same because we are humans. We are all the sons of Adam and Eve. There is no reason to look down at others just because we are coloured and no reason to hate because we are Muslim!
When something bad happened, everyone pointed to us. Terrorists! You looked down at us, jilted us, hate us and sometimes hurt us. But a mass murdering in An Noor's Mosque in Christchurch is too much! Our brothers and sisters were shot without any mercy! What have they done to you? What was playing in the killer's mind? What if those who were shot are your family? How would you feel?
A father left his home to perform the Friday Jumaah prayer at the mosque and in a blink of an eye, he was shot dead and then his corpse was sent home! Can you imagine how his wife and children felt? Just imagine how the family is going to move on with that kind of memories throughout their life? But, as I said, Islam is a religion of peace. Not to worry, we will not hate others of your kind, your families, your places of worship or even your country. Instead, we will make dua that Allah will change you to be a good man and may Allah lead you to the right path.
To all my brothers and sisters who lost their family members and friends on last Friday in Christchurch, May Allahu Subhanahuwataala give you peace and make you a stronger person and May Allah give you all the courage to accept this faith. May your children grow up to become better Muslims.
I don't know any of them but they are my brothers and sisters in Islam. It hurt me as much as it hurt their family and friends. My fellow citizens and his children were victims of the act too. I wish them well. For those victims who are still in the hospital, I wish all of you a speedy recovery and the whole world will mourn for those who lost their lives. May their souls be in peace. May all of them wait for us in Jannah. InsyaAllah!
To the people of New Zealand, we felt sorry for what had happened in your country and to your people. New Zealand is one of the favourite destinations for vacation. Most of my friends who visited, simply love your country. I hope this incidence will not give a negative impact on you but it will be for a while.... but, that mosque will always stay alive...... forever!
